Job Description

About the role:

The Neuroscience Sales Representative primary goals are as follows (preference for individuals based in Spokane WA, Coeur d'Alene ID, or Missoula, MT):

• Communicate clinical and scientific knowledge about our Neuroscience product(s) to appropriate HCPs in the psychiatry field. As well as selected primary care clinicians.
• Enhance Neuroscience product promotion efforts within assigned territory
• Achieve sales goal as defined by organization.

How you will contribute:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Communicate to appropriate HCPs high level scientific reasoning supporting the understanding and treatment of major depressive disorder and ADHD
• Engage customers in a way that reflects understanding of their environment and provides insight relevant to their market and practice
• Implement major depressive disorder and ADHD sales and product marketing strategies with precision to achieve sales goals
• Develop, sustain and grow highly effective working relationships with Psychiatrists and other appropriate healthcare providers.
• Work in conjunction with the District Business Manager to provide feedback to internal Business Unit stakeholders
• Collaborate with others to foster greater coordination around our promotional efforts
• Follow company compliance guidelines, code of conduct and promotional practices
• Communicate respectfully with an inclusive mindset to internal and external customers, partners and colleagues

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelors degree
• Valid U.S. drivers license

Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience or have previous Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. commercial leadership development or Takeda sales internship experience
• Healthcare, medical device/medical equipment, pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Organization - ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, sales calls, follow-up calls, samples, key account contacts, etc...
• Analytical skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data including sales and market data to make business decisions.
• Relationship building skills – ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers that enhance Takeda's reputation
• Communication – ability to communicate ideas/data both verbally and written.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel 70% of the time, including overnight travel
• Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental
